Google has announced Android 15 Beta 4.1, showing that we are very close to the public release of Android 15. The new beta comes with one small change. Google said on Reddit that this new version is available for all devices in the Pixel 6 series and later.
What came with Android 15 Beta 4.1?
Android 15 Beta 4.1 comes with build number AP31.240617.010 on most devices and comes with July 2024 security patches. Google says it has fixed only one call audio crash bug in this release:
– “Fixed several issues that caused device audio to crash when making or receiving calls (Bug #354086106, Bug #354582492, Bug #354788692, Bug #355129314, Bug #355024157).”
Google released this minor bug fix update to Android 15 as one of the last beta versions, meaning that the public version could be released in August. Pixel devices enrolled in the beta program will automatically receive this update in five days. The update has a download size of under 4MB across all devices, indicating that it’s really a minor upgrade.
The fact that Android 15 Beta 4.1 is such a small update shows that Google is ready to make the transition to the stable version of Android 15. With this update, the public version of Android 15 is expected to meet users very soon. What do you think? Please don’t forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
